Senior Project Finance Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Finance professional to join Raval Steel Manufacturing PLC in Addis Ababa. The role will lead financial planning and analysis for major steel production projects, ensuring robust investment decisions and sound financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve detailed financial models for project evaluation.
• Analyse project viability, cash‑flow forecasts and return on investment.
• Prepare comprehensive investment proposals and presentation materials for senior management.
• Create, monitor and adjust project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and procurement teams to align financial plans with technical requirements.
• Provide regular performance reporting and identify financial trends or risks.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex project data.
• Professional knowledge of corporate and project finance principles.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Several years of experience in project finance or investment analysis, preferably in manufacturing or infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non‑financial stakeholders.
