About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in backend development to join a global platform on a contract basis. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work remotely while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design, build and maintain high‑performance services that serve millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing services for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior backend engineer or similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience delivering software in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
