Senior Strategy and Planning Officer

About the role

The Senior Strategy and Planning Officer will provide expertise in organizational performance management, analysing the bank’s results against strategic indicators and supporting the achievement of the bank’s vision and core objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as division manager in their absence and ensure continuity of operations.
• Participate in developing, reviewing and implementing division policies, procedures, plans and budgets.
• Mentor and enable junior staff to achieve effective performance.
• Uphold the bank’s code of conduct and promote its corporate image.
• Collaborate with internal and external regulators, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Contribute to the preparation of the bank’s strategic and annual plans and budgets.
• Design planning methodologies, guidelines and formats.
• Prepare corporate key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate monthly and quarterly progress reports with recommendations.
• Collect and analyse data influencing bank performance and address deviations.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum five years of banking experience, including at least two years in an officer‑level position.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and uphold ethical standards.
