Solution Architect – RAN Projects

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a Solution Architect to lead end‑to‑end technical delivery of Radio Access Network (RAN) projects. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing and handing over 4G/LTE (and optionally 5G) solutions while acting as the primary technical interface with customers and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RAN project delivery from design through deployment, optimization and customer hand‑over.
• Define and validate RAN solutions in line with customer requirements, Ericsson standards and network strategy.
• Manage design activities such as coverage, capacity, parameter planning and feature implementation.
• Drive tuning and optimization to improve coverage, quality, capacity and user experience.
• Lead acceptance activities – test planning, KPI definition, issue resolution and customer sign‑off.
• Coordinate with project managers, RF engineers, delivery teams and subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies and deviations.
• Ensure compliance with Ericsson processes, governance models, quality and security standards.
• Support presales, bid and solution validation activities when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in RAN architecture, design, deployment, optimization and acceptance.
• Strong practical knowledge of 4G/LTE; 5G NR knowledge is an advantage.
• Proven expertise in Ericsson RAN systems, products, tools and delivery processes.
• Experience leading RAN projects in customer‑facing environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in international, multicultural project settings.
