Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term – Addis Ababa

About the role

The Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) will lead UNICEF Ethiopia’s contracting and logistics portfolio, ensuring that essential goods and services reach children and families efficiently, especially during emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the contracting & logistics portfolio, covering supply planning, forecasting, procurement, delivery, customs clearance, warehousing, in‑country transport and distribution.
• Ensure supply‑chain service delivery and rapid emergency response across Ethiopia.
• Collaborate with programme teams, implementing partners and government bodies to align logistics operations with programme objectives.
• Provide technical and advisory support to national systems and partners on procurement and logistics matters.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Supply/Purchasing, International Business, Law, Health Administration, Procurement, or related fields.
• At least eight years of relevant experience in supply management, contracting, logistics, procurement or supply‑chain management, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale logistics operations and multi‑stakeholder coordination.
