Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term

About the role

The Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) will lead UNICEF Ethiopia’s contracting and logistics portfolio, ensuring that essential supplies reach children and families in need across the country. This fixed‑term position is based in Addis Ababa and supports both routine programme delivery and emergency response operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee supply and contract planning, forecasting, procurement, delivery, customs clearance, warehousing, in‑country transport and distribution.
• Manage monitoring of supplies to guarantee timely availability and compliance with UNICEF standards.
• Coordinate supply‑chain service delivery and rapid emergency response logistics.
• Collaborate closely with programme teams, implementing partners and government agencies.
• Provide technical and advisory support to national systems on procurement and logistics matters.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Supply/Purchasing, International Business Relations, Law, Health Administration, Procurement, Commercial/Contract Law, International Development or related fields.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics management, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
