Tire Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tire Sales Manager to lead and grow our client’s tire business in Ethiopia. The role will focus on driving sales performance, expanding market presence and strengthening relationships with distributors, retailers and key accounts. You will be responsible for executing pricing and trade‑marketing initiatives to achieve commercial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the tire sales function to meet revenue and sales targets, driving sell‑out performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers and key accounts.
• Identify new market opportunities and support expansion of the customer and distribution network.
• Monitor sales performance, stock movement and provide regular reports to management.
• Support implementation of pricing strategies and monitor market conditions and competitor pricing.
• Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Social Media teams to execute local campaigns and promotional activities.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activities and provide recommendations.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team, set performance expectations and ensure effective execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tire sales, automotive sales or the tire industry.
• Proven track record in sales management, business development and distributor or key‑account management.
• Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian tire market and competitive landscape.
• Experience working with distributors, retailers, dealers or wholesale networks.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a sales team is an advantage.
