After Market Engineer

About the role

The After Market Engineer will support customers by managing records, handling escalated issues, and ensuring product satisfaction through technical support and on‑site inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update customer account information.
• Respond to escalated support issues, prepare reports and recommend process improvements.
• Formulate, revise and promote customer support policies.
• Monitor service parts inventory using ERP and apply EOQ principles.
• Escalate unresolved problems to internal teams such as service centers.
• Travel to customer sites for inspections, troubleshooting and reporting.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and production units to resolve product issues and support development.
• Conduct periodic customer satisfaction surveys and analyse feedback.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aftermarket, technical support or service engineering.
• Strong knowledge of spare parts, warranty, service procedures, product modifications and field failures.
