Aftersales Manager

About the role

The Aftersales Manager (Technical Service Engineer) will be based in Ethiopia, working both from home and on‑site with frequent travel. The role focuses on providing tele‑ and on‑site technical support for GoodWe PV inverters, hybrid storage solutions and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Key responsibilities

• Provide tele‑ and on‑site technical support and after‑sales assistance for PV string, hybrid/storage inverters and BESS.
• Commission, troubleshoot, and perform firmware/hardware updates on installed equipment.
• Report product failures to the head office with clear descriptions and follow‑up on resolutions.
• Evaluate PV plant performance by regularly analysing operation data.
• Collaborate proactively with installers and retailers to deliver best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Maintain regular follow‑ups on technical issues and build strong relationships with installers and retailers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the solar industry, preferably with product troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical ability to solve problems independently.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑driven attitude.
