Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB will lead business development activities for the bank’s Islamic Finance (Interest‑Free Banking) segment within the West Addis Ababa district. You will be responsible for attracting, deepening, and managing financial relationships to achieve deposit, financing, and investment growth targets while promoting the bank’s full product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead, and control business development initiatives for the assigned region.
• Attract new customers and deepen existing relationships to meet IFB deposit, financing, and investment growth goals.
• Drive overall business growth for the bank in the IFB market segment.
• Promote and sell additional bank products and services to enhance value‑add relationships with existing clients.
• Ensure compliance with Shariah principles, credit, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related field (Islamic banking diploma/certificate is a plus).
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in Islamic finance.
• Strong understanding of IFB operations, deposit and investment/financing products, and associated risks.
• Proven knowledge of modern sales and marketing practices in financial services.
• Excellent networking, project management, and leadership abilities.
