Branch Manager – Addis Ababa

About the role

Family SACCO is seeking a dynamic, people‑oriented Branch Manager to lead its Addis Ababa branch. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for overall branch performance, ensuring efficient service delivery and exceptional member experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations and ensure compliance with cooperative and regulatory policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to maintain high performance and a positive team culture.
• Coordinate savings and loan services, monitor performance metrics, and prepare operational and financial reports.
• Drive membership growth through outreach, financial literacy promotion, and relationship building.
• Identify opportunities to improve services and enhance member satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management, staff supervision, and workflow coordination.
• Strong background in customer service, member relationship building, and conflict resolution.
• Solid understanding of financial analysis, basic accounting, and reporting for savings and loan products.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, or related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in cooperatives, micro‑finance, or banking, especially in supervisory or leadership roles, is a strong advantage.
