Branch Manager – Level I

About the role

The Branch Manager – Level I will lead the operations of an insurance branch in Addis Ababa, ensuring efficient planning, organization, and control of daily activities while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control the branch’s operational activities.
• Oversee the implementation of insurance products and services.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• BA or higher degree in Management, Accounting & Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience for BA holders or 6 years for master’s degree holders, including at least 5 (or 3) years in a progressive branch position.
• At least 2 years as Branch Manager Grade II in an insurance company.
• Insurance profession diploma and CII preferred.
• Strong dedication, hard‑working attitude and ability to work well in a team.
