Business Associate – Client Consulting & Development

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking a motivated Business Associate to work directly with entrepreneur clients in Bambasi, Ethiopia. The role focuses on sourcing new clients, delivering business consulting, and maintaining strong client relationships to help entrepreneurs grow sustainably.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, map, and recruit potential entrepreneur clients in line with Inkomoko’s objectives.
• Conduct intake processes, monthly site visits, and assess business needs and opportunities.
• Prepare cash‑flow statements and profitability analyses for client businesses.
• Provide strategic, realistic advice to improve client sustainability and profitability.
• Deliver one‑on‑one advisory visits, connect clients to training and finance services, and keep client information up‑to‑date in the system.
• Lead clients through the enrolment process and ensure smooth onboarding.

Required profile

• Refugee staff member with strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication abilities to align with partners, business owners, and clients.
• Ability to work independently on the ground in Bambasi and travel for site visits.

Required skills

• Experience preparing cash‑flow statements and profitability analyses.
• Client relationship management and business consulting experience.
