Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our cargo and courier services. The role combines market research, client acquisition, and operational optimisation to expand our footprint across demand and operations streams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cargo services by aligning demand generation with operational capabilities.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and courier companies.
• Prepare commercial offers and presentations for prospective customers.
• Lead the acquisition of couriers and manage partner relations.
• Optimise operational processes for courier acquisition, planning, fleet management, and support.
• Analyse customer segments and attract new clients to the service.
• Make data‑driven decisions to improve accuracy, efficiency, safety and optimisation of warehouse and last‑mile operations.
• Monitor and analyse key performance metrics of all courier partners.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in sales, customer service, ride‑hailing operations or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally and take initiative.
• Proven negotiation and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Quick learner eager to acquire new skills.
