Character Concept Artist (Remote)

About the role

iLogos Game Studios is looking for a talented Character Concept Artist to create photoreal human and creature designs for mobile games. You will work remotely, collaborating with the Art Director and the wider art team to bring characters to life.

Key responsibilities

• Visualize and illustrate characters in full photoreal style, including anatomy, likeness, costumes, gear, aging, damage and material response to light.
• Produce turnarounds, expression sheets, lighting keys and material swatches that are technically robust for modelers and texture artists.
• Partner with the Art Director to define silhouette language, color palettes and cultural authenticity for multiple factions.
• Iterate rapidly in 2D to validate forms under real‑world lighting conditions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in games, film or VFX creating photoreal character concept art that has shipped.
• Portfolio showing accurate facial likeness, emotional range and deep knowledge of human and animal anatomy.
• Mastery of skin subsurface, fabric weave, metal reflectance and weathering.
• Ability to match real‑world camera lenses and lighting scenarios.
• Fluent in Photoshop, excellent visual communication and self‑driven attitude.
