CIP Process Technician

About the role

The Clean-in-Place (CIP) Process Technician ensures that brewing and packaging equipment is cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards of product quality and safety. This full‑time, on‑site position is based at the Debre Birhan brewery and works closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, start, and monitor CIP cycles for all relevant equipment.
• Verify cleaning parameters, record results, and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• Inspect equipment before and after cleaning to detect any issues.
• Report abnormalities and support basic troubleshooting of CIP‑related problems.
• Coordinate with production and quality departments to minimize downtime.
• Assist with routine preventive maintenance of CIP equipment.

Required profile

• Experience in brewery, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical production environments is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of industrial hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Team‑oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
