Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Finance team. The role will support strategic decision‑making by delivering financial insights, business analysis and performance management across the organization, particularly within the technology, software, fintech or financial services sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial insights for product pricing, customer acquisition, market expansion and new service offerings.
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior management, delivering data‑driven recommendations aligned with overall strategy.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Technology, Operations and Customer Success teams to evaluate performance and support growth initiatives.
• Support development and evaluation of strategic partnerships, business expansion opportunities and technology investments.
• Lead preparation of detailed financial and management reports, covering revenue performance, operating costs, profitability and key business metrics.
• Conduct profitability analysis across products, services, customer segments and business units.
• Analyze financial and operational KPIs to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Provide financial support for major initiatives such as software launches, platform enhancements, digital transformation and market expansion.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate realistic financial plans with department heads.
• Manage rolling forecasts, scenario analysis, and maintain robust financial models for investments and capital projects.
• Assess financial viability of strategic initiatives and recommend actions based on projected returns and risks.
• Monitor revenue streams, subscription and transaction‑based revenues, and evaluate customer profitability.
• Analyze cost structures, identify efficiency gains and support pricing strategy and margin improvement initiatives.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital optimization and liquidity planning to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong financial expertise with a solid understanding of commercial finance in technology, software, fintech or financial services.
• Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and performance analysis.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment.
