Computer Vision Annotator (Remote)

About the role

The Computer Vision Annotator will create high‑quality labeled datasets for image and video streams, supporting the training of advanced computer‑vision and machine‑learning models. Working remotely, you will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure annotation accuracy and consistency across projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draw precise bounding boxes, polygons, polylines and 3D cuboids on visual data using tools such as CVAT and Label Studio.
• Place key points for pose estimation and generate segmentation masks for pixel‑level labeling.
• Annotate point‑cloud and LiDAR data to support autonomous‑vehicle and robotics applications.
• Interpret complex labeling taxonomies, resolve ambiguous cases, and refine annotation guidelines.
• Provide feedback on annotation tools and workflow efficiency, reporting edge cases and potential dataset biases.
• Assist with basic data preparation tasks, including image resizing and format conversion.
• Track annotation KPIs such as throughput, precision and recall, and participate in calibration sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data annotation or quality assurance for computer‑vision projects.
• Proven ability to apply a variety of annotation techniques (bounding boxes, polygons, key points, 3D cuboids, segmentation masks).
• Strong understanding of computer‑vision concepts and terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistent, high‑quality output.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
