Creative Intern

About the role

Urban® is seeking a Creative Intern to join its Addis Ababa studio. This full‑time, on‑site position offers a hands‑on introduction to the end‑to‑end creative process behind TV, radio, and digital productions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept development.
• Assist with copywriting for scripts, social media content, and campaign materials.
• Prepare mood boards, reference decks and contribute to creative presentations.
• Help on set during shoots, coordinating with production and post‑production crews.
• Conduct basic research on brands, audiences and market trends to inform creative decisions.
• Organise and maintain creative assets and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong interest in visual storytelling and brand communication.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take feedback constructively and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Curiosity about how ideas evolve into full campaigns.
