Data Center & Core Systems Manager

About the role

The bank is seeking an experienced manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operation of its primary and disaster‑recovery data centers as well as its cloud infrastructure. You will ensure continuous availability of power, cooling, connectivity and physical security while supporting core banking and critical enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 24/7 operations of primary and DR data centers and cloud platforms.
• Oversee servers, storage, virtualization, cloud computing and containerized environments.
• Implement high‑availability, performance, scalability and resilience through clustering, redundancy, load balancing and cloud‑native architectures.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, environmental conditions and service‑level agreements.
• Lead, coach and develop data‑center and core‑systems staff.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory directives, cybersecurity standards, audit requirements and internal governance.

Required profile

• First‑degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong background in data‑center operations and core banking system support.
