Data Officer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Data Officer to support pharmacovigilance and vigilance data management activities. The successful candidate will ensure accurate processing, tracking and maintenance of safety data while supporting regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shared and client‑specific mailboxes, register vigilance cases and perform duplicate searches in safety databases.
• Code medical information using MedDRA, prepare case narratives and ensure patient data anonymisation.
• Generate reports and listings from safety databases, support KPI calculations and prepare periodic activity reports.
• Support EudraVigilance, XEVMPD, MHRA, FDA and other health‑authority reporting activities.
• Participate in new client projects, process optimisation initiatives and draft work instructions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry or a related scientific field.
• Experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, case processing or regulatory affairs is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and critical thinking.
• Effective communication and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Required skills

• Pharmacovigilance case processing and MedDRA coding.
• EudraVigilance and safety database management.
• Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and KPI monitoring.
