Director, Market Implementation – Ethiopia (Growth Segments)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Market Implementation for its Growth Segments team in Ethiopia. The role focuses on expanding digital payment solutions for low‑income consumers, smallholder farmers, and micro‑merchants, driving the shift from cash to digital in rural communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development and customer account management to sustain and grow Growth Segments initiatives in Ethiopia.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to deploy, adopt, and continuously improve solutions.
• Design and deliver capacity‑building programs, including product training, technology adoption, and change‑management workshops.
• Drive solution adoption through complex technology implementations, incentive programs, and ongoing support.
• Oversee project management for Community Pass solution deployments and report progress to the global team.
• Prepare and present regular deployment reports to senior Mastercard executives, highlighting milestones and strategic updates.
