District Multi-Sectoral Program Coordinator

About the role

World Vision Ethiopia seeks a District Multi‑Sectoral Program Coordinator to oversee field‑level activities of the RISE project, ensuring compliance with donor and governmental guidelines while supporting vulnerable children across the district.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate RISE project field activities in line with the project proposal, World Vision policies, donor guidelines, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ensure proper physical and financial implementation of the project within the planned timeframe and resource allocation.
• Supervise field‑level project officers, providing support for sectoral activities and addressing challenges promptly.
• Facilitate networking with field coordination, local government offices, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
• Compile and submit financial and narrative reports to the project manager and submit operation plans and progress reports to relevant authorities.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in coordination or management roles, preferably in NGOs.
• BA/BSc degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Development Studies, WASH or related fields.
• Experience with USAID/BHA or EHF funded projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Program management and participatory monitoring & evaluation.
• Community participation, Participatory Rural Appraisal, and Participatory Learning & Action.
• Fluent oral and written English.
