Document Controller – Construction Project (Ethiopia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and organized Document Controller to support a long‑term construction project in Ethiopia. The role involves managing all project documentation, ensuring proper revision control, and facilitating smooth information flow among project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documents and records, both electronic and hard‑copy.
• Control distribution, filing, and tracking of drawings, correspondence, and other project documentation.
• Maintain document registers, ensure proper revision control, and track document status, approvals, and revisions.
• Coordinate document submissions and transmittals with engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare document control reports and maintain accurate project records while ensuring confidentiality.

Required profile

• Diploma or BSc in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, including site construction works and building projects.
• Previous experience with international construction companies is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Candidate must be a resident of Ethiopia.
