EU CARE4HEALTH Project Evaluation & Audit Consultant (6 months)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an experienced consultant to lead the closure of the EU‑funded CARE4Health project in Ethiopia. The consultant will coordinate the end‑line evaluation, ensure audit readiness, and manage all final reporting and documentation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day coordination of the end‑line evaluation and audit preparation.
• Prepare final project reports, closure documentation, and stakeholder dissemination materials.
• Monitor and follow up on remaining closure actions, including any outstanding construction matters.
• Ensure all deliverables meet UNICEF and donor quality standards.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and lessons‑learned sessions with project partners.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in social sciences, public health, statistics or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in public health, sexual and reproductive health planning, monitoring & evaluation, or similar fields.
• Proven experience managing donor‑funded health projects and conducting project evaluations.
