Executive Driver – Safe Transport for Management

About the role

Heineken is seeking a professional driver to provide safe, reliable and confidential transportation for the Brewery Manager, guests and family members in Harar. The role requires punctual, courteous service and strict adherence to company standards and road safety.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, smooth and defensive driving in line with traffic laws and company standards.
• Ensure timely transport to offices, meetings, events, airports, residences and other approved destinations through proper route and time planning.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information related to the Brewery Manager’s movements, schedules and visitors.
• Treat all passengers with respect, courtesy and professionalism.
• Maintain a calm, service‑oriented attitude inside the vehicle and avoid disruptive behaviour.
• Represent the company positively through proper grooming, respectful communication and orderly parking.
• Plan routes considering traffic, weather, road conditions, security updates and guidance from the Security team.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (tyres, brakes, lights, fuel, oil, water, tools) and keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
• Perform CILT activities, report defects promptly and coordinate maintenance with General Services.
• Respond calmly to accidents, breakdowns, medical situations or security incidents and inform relevant contacts.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, management, security and other stakeholders regarding schedules, risks and vehicle condition.
• Carry out additional transport, administrative and support tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years professional driving experience.
• Completed at least 10th grade education.
• Valid 3rd grade driving licence.

Required skills

• Defensive and smooth driving techniques.
• Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance (tyres, brakes, lights, fluids).
• Route planning considering traffic, weather and security updates.
