Finance and Compliance Manager – Faith and Community Initiative Project

About the role

The Finance and Compliance Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting and risk management for the Faith and Community Initiative (FCI) project. This role ensures alignment with World Vision policies, donor regulations and statutory requirements while supporting consortium partners and sub‑grantees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting and long‑term strategic planning for the project.
• Provide strategic financial analysis, pipeline reporting and variance analysis to senior management.
• Support budget holders, monitor grant expenditures and ensure accurate financial reporting in the Sun System.
• Manage cash projections, treasury coordination and monthly financial reviews.
• Lead internal and external audits, risk registers, and ensure compliance with donor and organizational standards.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, setting performance objectives and addressing capacity gaps.

Required profile

• MBA or bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in finance roles within international NGOs, preferably with USG grant management.
• Fluent English and proficiency in local languages.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including to insecure locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using the Sun System financial software.
