Frappe/ERPNext Full-Stack Developer (On-site, Addis Ababa)

About the role

Mevinai PLC is seeking a Frappe/ERPNext Full‑Stack Developer to join its on‑site team in Addis Ababa. The position starts with a six‑month independent contractor agreement and may be extended based on performance and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain ERPNext applications, modules, and business workflows using the Frappe Framework.
• Build backend functionality with Python and frontend features with JavaScript.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and the engineering team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write and optimise MariaDB/MySQL queries, troubleshoot database issues, and improve performance.
• Use Git, Docker, Ansible, and CI/CD tools to manage code, support reliable deployments, and conduct code reviews.

Required profile

• Practical experience with the Frappe Framework and ERPNext.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently or within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and responsibility for code quality.
