Google Cloud Architect – Enterprise Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, governance, and optimization of GCP solutions for large enterprise customers. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping organisations modernise their technology landscape, accelerate cloud adoption and achieve business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise‑scale cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop cloud adoption roadmaps, target‑state architectures and migration strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Lead architecture reviews, design authorities and governance forums.
• Engage senior stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects) through workshops, assessments and presentations.
• Architect solutions using Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Apigee, Anthos, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Spanner and define hybrid/multi‑cloud integration patterns.
• Implement security‑by‑design, IAM, identity federation and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI‑DSS, NIST and CIS benchmarks.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code, design CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments with Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins and Cloud Build.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering enterprise‑scale cloud transformations.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills.
• Current, active Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification (mandatory).
• Desirable additional certifications: Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Network Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Data Engineer, Associate Cloud Engineer, TOGAF, CKA, CKAD.
