Group SeMS & ERP Manager

About the role

The Group SeMS & ERP Manager leads the design, implementation, governance and continuous improvement of the Group Security Management System (SeMS) and Emergency Response Programme (ERP) across a global aviation logistics network. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures regulatory compliance with ICAO standards and national aviation security regulations while enhancing organisational resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Own, maintain and continuously enhance the Group SeMS in line with ICAO Annex 17, Annex 19 and Doc 10121.
• Align SeMS with SMS, MORSE, quality systems and operational standards.
• Govern the Group ERP, integrating it with business continuity and crisis‑management arrangements.
• Define emergency‑preparedness requirements, response capabilities, recovery plans and post‑event reviews.
• Serve as the Group focal point for SeMS and ERP matters with regulators, airline customers, airports and authorities.
• Support regulatory audits, inspections and compliance activities related to aviation security and emergency response.
• Participate in risk review boards, insight forums, crisis‑management structures and governance meetings.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in aviation security or a related field.
• Proven experience managing security management systems and emergency response programmes in a global aviation or logistics environment.
• Deep knowledge of ICAO Annex 17, Annex 19 and Doc 10121 and applicable national regulations.
• Ability to provide independent, objective assurance and expert guidance across multiple business units.

Required skills

• Expertise in ICAO security standards (Annex 17, Annex 19, Doc 10121).
• Familiarity with MORSE and other aviation safety/security systems.
