About the role
The Guidance Counselor at Bingham Academy supports students’ academic, university, and career planning while integrating a Christian philosophy of education. This full‑time volunteer role contributes to shaping a generation that influences the world for Christ.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain academic records, transcripts, and reference letters for high‑school students.
- Coordinate university and career counseling, including workshops, parent meetings, and college fair participation.
- Oversee standardized testing administration and deadlines.
- Collaborate with school leadership on curriculum, timetabling, and the careers program.
- Provide leadership and reporting for the guidance department.

- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
- Resilience, emotional maturity, and cultural sensitivity.
