GWTG Aortic Stenosis Abstractor (Remote)

About the role

American Data Network is seeking experienced abstractors to support the AHA‑GWTG‑Aortic Stenosis Registry. This remote position involves independent review of clinical documentation, applying registry specifications, and delivering high‑quality data on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and abstract data for the AHA‑GWTG‑AS Registry.
• Apply registry definitions, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and abstraction guidelines accurately.
• Interpret cardiology procedures, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, and related quality measures.
• Enter complete data into registry platforms, EHRs, or vendor tools while maintaining accuracy.
• Meet productivity expectations, weekly progress goals, and client deadlines.
• Participate in quality assurance activities such as feedback, validation, and inter‑rater reliability reviews.

Required profile

• Recent hands‑on experience with AHA‑GWTG‑Aortic Stenosis Registry abstraction.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy.
• Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting and medical record interpretation.
• Comfort working across multiple EHRs, registry platforms, and vendor tools.
• Excellent written communication and professional interaction with team and client contacts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the AHA‑GWTG‑AS application and related reporting tools.
• Experience conducting IRR, QA review, and audit validation for registry data.
• Ability to navigate various EHR systems and registry platforms.
