Head of Marketing

About the role

EasyPOS is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the development and execution of its marketing strategy. Based in Addis Ababa, this full‑time, on‑site position will drive brand consistency, growth across channels, and alignment with sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define target market segments and conduct market research to inform product positioning.
• Design and implement go‑to‑market strategies and oversee multi‑channel marketing campaigns.
• Manage the marketing budget, measure ROI, and optimise performance based on data.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
• Lead public‑relations activities, build strategic partnerships, and oversee content and digital marketing initiatives.
• Track and analyse performance metrics to continuously improve brand positioning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading marketing teams, preferably in SaaS, POS or technology‑focused companies.
• Strong background in market planning, marketing management and market research.
• Experience in sales support and public‑relations to drive revenue growth.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Familiarity with emerging markets and the Ethiopian business environment is advantageous.
