HR Business Partner – Commerce

About the role

The HR Business Partner for Commerce will lead strategic HR initiatives, support the Commerce function and ensure alignment with Heineken Ethiopia’s overall HR strategy. The role reports to the Human Resource Director and works closely with senior leaders in the Sales and Commerce areas.

Key responsibilities

• Embed strategic HR business partnering and oversee implementation of HR strategies to support the Commerce function and employee value proposition.
• Lead performance management, career planning, talent acquisition, succession planning and DEI initiatives, including the Women in Sales agenda.
• Analyse HR metrics, develop solutions and policies, and drive climate and change management initiatives.
• Provide HR policy guidance, manage employee relations, expatriate assignments and staff well‑being programs.
• Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits to review reward systems and ensure competitive remuneration.

Required profile

• Minimum a university degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, HR Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner with strong business acumen and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
• Experience in an international organization is an advantage.
