Junior Marketing Officer

About the role

The Junior Marketing Officer will join a creative content company in Addis Ababa, working full‑time on‑site. This entry‑level position supports the marketing team by conducting research, assisting in strategy development, and helping to produce sales and promotional materials.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer insights.
• Assist in developing and refining marketing strategies and campaign plans.
• Prepare sales decks, brochures, and other promotional collateral.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Interact with customers and partners to gather feedback and provide basic support.
• Track campaign performance, compile reports, and suggest data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a marketing or sales support role is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills
