Junior Non‑Key Expert – Digital Connectivity Study for Agriculture & Education

About the role

NTU International is seeking three Junior Non‑Key Experts to support the PRIDA II Digital Connectivity Study for agriculture and education. The assignment is based at the African Union Commission (AUC) in Addis Ababa, with most work performed remotely or on field missions across the five AU regions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess bandwidth availability, quality, cost and adoption for rural agriculture and education in AU Member States.
• Evaluate affordable connectivity options, including technical, economic and regulatory feasibility for underserved areas.
• Review and develop sustainable financing and service‑delivery models, creating pricing and discount‑rate methodologies.
• Design policy and implementation strategies to promote sustainable digital connectivity, aligning with AU and national frameworks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Communications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/ICT/IT, Economics or Law.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in connectivity market development in developing or emerging economies.
• Proven ability to conduct regional analyses and produce technical reports.
