Junior Non‑Key Expert – Digital Connectivity Study for Agriculture & Education

About the role

NTU International is seeking three Junior Non‑Key Experts to support the PRIDA II project, which aims to strengthen the African Union’s capacity to implement digital strategies in agriculture and education across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Assess bandwidth availability, quality, cost and adoption of connectivity services for rural agriculture and education in all AU member states.
• Evaluate technical, economic and regulatory feasibility of alternative connectivity solutions for underserved areas.
• Review and compare sustainable financing and service‑delivery models, develop pricing and discount‑rate methodologies, and perform sensitivity analyses.
• Develop policy and implementation strategies to promote sustainable digital connectivity, define stakeholder roles and propose investment frameworks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Communications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/ICT/IT, Economics, Law or a related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in connectivity market development in developing or emerging economies.
