MPESA Marketing Communication and Brand Assistant

About the role

Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking a Marketing Communication and Brand Assistant to support the MPESA business. The role will work closely with the MPESA Communication Manager to help deliver marketing and communication initiatives that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of MPESA communication campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Support staff‑focused campaigns and internal communications.
• Liaise with external agencies and suppliers to produce marketing collateral.
• Coordinate daily activities with the MPESA Communication Manager to ensure timely delivery of assets.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for marketing and brand communication within a fast‑growing telecom environment.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaign elements.
