Multi Sectoral-Integrated Program Manager

About the role

The Multi‑Sectoral Integrated Program Manager provides strategic and technical leadership for a wide‑range of humanitarian interventions, ensuring coherence across education, protection, WASH, health, nutrition, shelter, agriculture and information management. This senior role drives program quality, alignment with humanitarian standards and innovative solutions in challenging emergency contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, monitoring and adaptation of all project sectors, ensuring synergy and complementarity.
• Develop and regularly update an integrated technical strategy aligned with Sphere, CHS, INEE, cluster guidance and donor requirements.
• Oversee technical design of tools, SOPs, guidelines and sector‑specific packages, embedding protection, gender, disability, climate resilience and accountability.
• Establish systems for performance reviews, quality audits and continuous improvement.
• Guide technical decisions during emergencies, including disease outbreaks, natural disasters and access constraints.
• Integrate anticipatory action, disaster risk reduction and early recovery approaches.
• Provide oversight for localization, capacity strengthening of local partners and risk mitigation.
• Review and approve technical components of work plans, budgets, procurement plans and training curricula.
• Champion innovation and digital solutions to enhance program effectiveness.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading multi‑sectoral humanitarian programmes in emergency settings.
• Strong knowledge of humanitarian standards (Sphere, CHS, INEE) and cluster coordination.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical teams and coordinate with local partners.
• Experience in risk analysis, safeguarding, and ensuring compliance with donor and government requirements.
