About the role
Tana Micro Finance Institution S.C., an Ethiopian micro‑finance company operating 13 branches across the Amhara Region and Addis Ababa, is seeking an Operation Department Manager. The institution, with a paid‑up capital of ETB 107.3 million, serves individuals and small businesses that have limited access to conventional bank credit. The position is based at the Bahir Dar head office, is permanent and full‑time, and is classified at Job Grade XVII. The manager will lead the operational functions of the institution, supporting its mission to provide savings, credit, money‑transfer and financial training services to underserved communities.
Required profile
- MA/BA degree in Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
- Eight to ten years of overall professional experience.
- At least three years in an Operations Manager, Division Manager or Area Manager role within a micro‑finance institution or bank.
