Pharma Portfolio Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative Pharma Portfolio will be responsible for driving sales growth of the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio across Addis Ababa and surrounding regions. Reporting to the Commercial Lead Ethiopia, the role combines scientific detailing with strategic customer engagement to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual territory business plan aligned with company objectives.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales, market‑share and profitability targets for the assigned portfolio.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, pharmacists, hospitals and wholesalers through high‑quality scientific detailing.
• Monitor product availability, distribution and stock levels across pharmacies, hospitals and wholesalers, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Collect market intelligence, track competitor activities and communicate insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with EFDA regulations, company policies and pharmacovigilance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm) and a professional license from the Ethiopian regulatory body.
• 2–5 years of successful pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience, preferably in sexual and reproductive health.
• Proven ability to understand and communicate technical product information.
