About the role

The physiotherapist will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring safe and effective care.

Key responsibilities

Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Deliver therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, mobility training and physical modalities.
Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and educate patients and caregivers on home‑based rehabilitation.
Maintain accurate documentation, report adverse events and participate in quality‑improvement activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy from a recognized institution.
Valid professional license/registration with the Ethiopian regulatory authority.
Relevant clinical experience is preferred.

Required skills

Physiotherapy assessment and treatment planning.
Manual therapy techniques.
Use of therapeutic exercise equipment and physical modalities.
Patient education and documentation.
