About the role
We are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead the management and construction supervision of a 65‑floor high‑rise building in Addis Ababa. The role requires overseeing the structural aspects of the project from design review through to on‑site execution, ensuring compliance with local codes and international best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the overall structural engineering scope for the 65‑floor high‑rise project, coordinating with design and construction teams.
- Supervise on‑site construction activities, verifying that structural works adhere to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Required profile
- BSc in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
- Proven experience on high‑rise building projects, with at least two similar 65‑floor projects.
- Prior experience as a consultant is mandatory.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Post‑graduate studies or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
