Project Assistant – FRESHWAY Project

About the role

The Project Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative, logistical and operational support to the FRESHWAY Project team in Ethiopia. The role ensures smooth coordination of procurement, travel, documentation and day‑to‑day project processes using SNV systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support project staff in operational planning, scheduling and execution of activities.
• Coordinate procurement requests, purchase orders and vendor communications.
• Arrange travel logistics, accommodation and related documentation for project personnel.
• Maintain project files, records and reporting tools in compliance with SNV procedures.
• Assist in organizing project events, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor and update project budgets, expenses and timelines using SAP.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Experience in administrative or project support roles is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for procurement and financial tracking.
