Regional Director, Finance & Operations

About the role

The Regional Director, Finance & Operations will lead financial and operational support across Splash’s Africa country offices. This full‑time hybrid position works closely with both the Global Finance Team and the Regional Leadership Team to ensure high‑quality program delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen financial systems and improve operational efficiency across multiple African offices.
• Support compliance with donor requirements, local laws, and Splash’s internal control standards.
• Partner with country and regional leaders to provide tools, guidance, and oversight for program implementation.
• Contribute to strategic and operational planning at the country level.
• Monitor delivery against financial plans and ensure alignment with the senior finance leadership.
• Oversee operations and compliance practices that enable effective program execution.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to lead finance and operations in a multi‑country, nonprofit environment.
• Experience working with donor compliance, financial controls, and local regulatory frameworks.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with senior leaders across finance, program, and regional teams.
