Remote School-Based Therapist – Full or Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a licensed mental‑health professional to provide individual and group therapy to students directly within their schools. The position is remote, allowing you to schedule sessions during school hours while supporting students’ emotional and psychological well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students experiencing mental‑health distress.
• Deliver evidence‑based individual and group therapy sessions throughout the school year and summer months.
• Identify culturally appropriate interventions and collaborate with school social workers.
• Set SMART goals, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide strength‑based resources.
• Conduct specialized group sessions (e.g., anger management, anxiety, depression, relationship issues).
• Refer students to internal or external providers as needed and connect families with community resources.

Required profile

• Current, valid mental‑health licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, LPCC, or Clinical Psychology PsyD/PhD – independent or provisional).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
• Completed CAQH application.
• Professional malpractice liability insurance ($1 million/$3 million).
