Sales and Marketing Management Trainee

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Management Trainee will work full‑time on‑site in Addis Ababa, supporting the planning and execution of sales and marketing initiatives for an event management company. The role offers hands‑on experience in lead generation, client outreach, and the creation of sales and marketing materials.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing sales and marketing campaigns that promote event services.
• Support lead generation activities, client outreach, and follow‑up communications.
• Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral for both digital and offline channels.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand service offerings and ensure accurate client interaction records.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and campaign performance.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service ability to respond professionally to inquiries.
• Basic sales skills such as prospecting, presenting services, and assisting in closing deals.
• Interest or experience in training and sales management with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on‑site in Addis Ababa and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and familiarity with digital/social media channels.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Post‑secondary education in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field preferred.
