About the role

Hirearky is a fast‑growing recruiting and talent solutions firm that partners with early‑stage technology startups across the United States. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will be the first point of contact with founders and hiring managers, generating new business opportunities and laying the groundwork for long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn and other channels.
  • Identify and qualify startup founders, executives and hiring managers.
  • Schedule discovery meetings between prospects and the Hirearky leadership team.
  • Maintain accurate activity records and pipeline data in the CRM.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and nurture relationships.
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to understand client hiring needs.
  • Learn the fundamentals of recruiting and talent acquisition.
  • Meet and exceed activity and appointment‑setting targets.

Required profile

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging new prospects.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
  • Coachable and able to work independently in a fast‑paced startup environment.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, recruiting, business development or appointment setting is a plus.

Required skills

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Pipedrive, HubSpot or Salesforce.
