Secondary English Teacher

About the role

Teach secondary English at Bingham Academy, integrating the Cambridge curriculum with a Christian philosophy of education. Inspire students academically and spiritually while contributing to a multicultural community.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver student‑centered English lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Prepare schemes of work, resources and assessments that monitor progress and character development.
• Differentiate instruction for varied learning needs and language backgrounds.
• Provide constructive feedback, maintain accurate records, and manage a safe, inclusive classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues, communicate with parents, and participate in school activities.

• Energetic, approachable and positive personality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE/A Level English curriculum.
• Teaching certification/license and at least one year of teaching experience.
• Ability to integrate Christian philosophy into lesson planning and classroom management.
