Senior Accountant

About the role

G-Power Manufacturing PLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting and financial operations for its fast‑growing clean‑energy business in Ethiopia. The role will support accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and cost tracking within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate transaction recording.
• Prepare, record, and maintain financial reports and statements.
• Manage withholding tax postings, tax documentation, and related activities.
• Perform CPU and CSI accounting tasks efficiently.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and dynamic financial reports for management review.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems.
• Support budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting initiatives.
• Coordinate with various departments on accounting matters.
• Ensure compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality in all accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or technical companies is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
